The New Media Director will work with communications staff to develop and execute an online communications strategy, including the email program, social media, web development and technology needs. Duties include leading office social media efforts; shooting and editing photos; developing graphic art like infographics and floor charts; shooting and editing videos; maintaining and developing web pages; and building strong relationships with bloggers, tech/social media reporters and relevant groups on and off Capitol Hill. Knowledge of HTML, various CMS, Adobe Creative suite, FinalCut Pro or equivalent video editing software, and innovative social media platforms required. Campaign or Capitol Hill experience preferred.
