Pacific Northwest Democrat is seeking a New Media Assistant to handle day-to-day multimedia needs of office, and contribute to daily operations of aggressive press office. He/she will oversee daily maintenance of the Senator’s website and social media platforms. He/she will also help to write press releases and advisories, talking points, newsletters, video scripts and Web content, as well as compiling office news clips. The ideal candidate would be a proactive self-starter with advanced knowledge of new media, excellent writing skills and the ability to work quickly, accurately and creatively under tight deadlines. Ability to film, edit and produce original audio and video content is preferred, but not required.
