Budget Analyst – Senate Budget Committee (minority)

The Ranking Member of the Senate Budget Committee seeks a detail-oriented Analyst with strong quantitative and communication skills for a full-time position. The analyst will be responsible for helping develop and scrutinize budgets and analyzing programs intended to assist the poor. Such programs include food assistance, unemployment compensation, Head Start, and other low income assistance programs.  Tasks include crafting and interpreting qualitative and numeric budget and legislative proposals, drafting talking points and memoranda, providing verbal briefings, creating charts and assessing relevant Executive Branch activities.  Understanding the federal budget process, budget law, and/or Senate procedure is valued.  Experience in external communications highly desirable. Policy/Budget Analyst – Republican Senate Office

Republican office is seeking a Policy/Budget Analyst for Medicare and Medicaid.
