Summer Law Clerks – Senator Al Franken (D-MN)

The Office of Senator Al Franken is accepting applications for law clerks for Summer 2015 (May – August).  Clerks will assist the counsels and staff of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology and the Law on a variety of policy issues, including commercial privacy, government privacy and transparency, antitrust, judicial nominations, crime, civil rights, immigration, and campaign finance.  Applications from 2Ls and 3Ls will be accepted.  This position is unpaid, but the office will support successful candidates’ efforts to obtain academic credit and/or outside funding.  Minnesota applicants are encouraged to apply, but all are welcome.  To apply, please send a resume, short cover letter, transcript, references, and a short writing sample (no more than 5 pages) to senate_employment@saa.senate.gov with 222680 as the job referral number in the subject line as soon as possible, and no later than April 1, 2015.  Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
