Summer Law Clerk (paid) – Senate Select Committee on Ethics

The Select Committee on Ethics seeks a highly motivated and non-partisan law student for a Summer 2016 full-time, 10-week, paid internship. This learning experience will provide substantive knowledge in legislative branch ethics and a unique opportunity to work closely with subject matter experts in the Senate on a variety of ethics related topics. The primary focus of the work will be researching and documenting Committee precedent respecting its application and interpretation of the Senate Code of Conduct and related federal laws. Good judgement and a professional demeanor are essential. Candidates should possess excellent research skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to successfully multitask and meet deadlines. This internship is open to current law students only. Preference will be given to rising 3Ls; however, strong rising 2Ls will be considered. The Committee is an equal employment opportunity employer.
