Spring Interns – New England Senate Democrat

Progressive New England Senator is accepting applications for spring 2017 internships in fast-paced D.C. office. Interns will have the unique opportunity to attend hearings, briefings, and events surrounding pertinent national and international issues. They are encouraged to work directly with staff on projects that range from research to drafting memos for the Senator. The program is intended to provide participants with the tools, skills, and experience that they can readily apply to future challenges and professional pursuits. This is an excellent opportunity for college students who are interested in the political process and are seeking practical, hands-on experience in a Capitol Hill office. Start and end dates as well as hours are negotiable. Internships are unpaid, but academic credit is available for qualifying students. While preference is given to Connecticut residents, students from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Deadline to apply is November 25, 2016 at 9am.
