Spring Intern – Senate Small Business Committee (minority)

The Democratic Staff of the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship seeks full-time, unpaid interns in Washington, DC, starting at the beginning of January. Part-time interns will also be considered, but candidates with full-time availability will be given preference. It is preferable, but not required, if the candidate is available to start at the beginning of January and can continue work through the spring (April/May). Responsibilities include compiling press clips, writing memos, preparing for hearings, and assisting staff with legislative research. Applicants must work well under pressure, have excellent written and oral communications skills and a desire to learn. New Hampshire ties are preferred but not required.
