Press Assistant – Senate Committee (minority)

Democratic Senate committee office seeks press assistant for an active communications operation. Primary responsibilities include drafting press releases and advisories, compiling daily news clippings, coordinating press outreach with committee member offices, organizing media events, and assisting press secretary in managing daily operations of the press office. Previous Hill or campaign experience in communications a plus. Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential. This office is an equal opportunity employer.
