Paid Interns – North Dakota Senator
Senator John Hoeven (R-ND) is accepting applications for Fall Interns. Young adults interning with Senator Hoeven’s office can expect to work closely with staff members on a variety of projects, including communication, legislative, constituent, and administrative work. Interns frequently assist with researching issues and tracking legislation as well as helping constituents and, in Washington, provide constituent tours of the U.S. Capitol. Interns working in Washington also have the chance to attend committee hearings and other Congressional meetings and events in addition to having access to the Library of Congress and Congressional Research Service. Full-time and part-time internships are offered, and each intern receives a small stipend. Internships are available in Washington, DC, Bismarck, Fargo, and Grand Forks. The final deadline to apply is Friday, September 9. Applications are available online at: http://hoeven.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/internships. Interested individuals should send a completed application form (available through Senator Hoeven’s official website) and current resume to email hidden; JavaScript is required.
