Rep. Greg Walden is seeking a Legislative Correspondent to manage and coordinate a rigorous constituent correspondence program. Candidates must possess excellent writing skills, and be assertive and efficient in their ability to organize, process, and respond to incoming mail. Prior experience in Internet Quorum (IQ) mail processing and database management is also a must. Ideal candidates would have knowledge of the legislative and political process, a strong attention to detail, and prior experience on Capitol Hill.  Duties include, but are not limited to, sorting incoming letters and emails, tracking and assigning mail through IQ, drafting and sending timely responses, preparing weekly mail reports, and developing and executing regular outreach mailers.
