Legislative Assistant – Senior California House Democrat
Senior California Democrat seeks a mid-level Legislative Assistant to handle a variety of domestic issues. The successful candidate will have strong research, writing and interpersonal skills. This position will involve significant amounts of legislative research. The Legislative Assistant will be responsible for covering committees on which the Member does not serve, and for providing analysis and updates on assigned issue areas. The LA will also be responsible for representing the Member in meetings with constituents and advocacy organizations.
