Legislative Assistant (energy) – Senate Republican

Republican Senator is seeking a Legislative Assistant to handle energy issues to include electricity, FERC, oil & gas, and coal. Responsibilities include developing policy ideas, drafting legislation, and representing the Senator before constituents and national groups.  Qualified candidates should have a solid background in energy policy as well as excellent communication, research, and writing skills.  Applicants should be highly motivated and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is not an entry level position; previous congressional experience strongly preferred.  Salary commensurate with experience.
