Congressman Patrick McHenry’s Washington DC office is seeking hard working, conservative interns for a full time internship during the fall of 2012.  Recent graduates interested in gaining valuable experience in a Congressional office are strongly encouraged to apply.  Intern responsibilities include attending hearings and briefings on behalf of staff, assisting with legislative and press research, and drafting letters to constituents.  Interns will also be expected to lead constituents on tours of the US Capitol and manage constituent communication via mail and phone.  North Carolina ties are preferred but not required.  This is an unpaid position.  If interested, please email a resume and cover letter to email hidden; JavaScript is required.  No phone calls please.
