The office of U.S. Congressman Michael Michaud (ME-02) is currently accepting applications for full and part-time fall semester interns beginning in August/September.  Daily tasks will vary and include answering phones, running errands, researching legislation for the Member and legislative staff, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent letters on various issues before the House. As a result, interns will learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office.  All internships are unpaid.

Maine/New England ties are a plus but not required.  Interested applicants should submit their cover letter, resume, and a 2-3 page writing sample to email hidden; JavaScript is required with “ME02 Internship” in the subject line.
