Professional Policy Staffer (health) – Republican Study Committee

The Republican Study Committee seeks a professional policy staffer to cover healthcare; the position will have other issues in the portfolio, which will be assigned based on need and experience.  Duties include serving as the principal advisor on all issues in the portfolio, producing analysis for all relevant legislation, developing innovative policy proposals, hosting member and staff briefings, and interacting with the conservative movement both on and off the Hill.  

The ideal candidate will be a conservative committed to the principles of the RSC, a self-starter, willing to put in the hours necessary to complete the job, and able to interact well will others in a fast-paced atmosphere.  This is not an entry level job; the candidate must have minimum 3 years of Congressional experience.  The RSC is the caucus of conservatives in the House of Representatives, including 157 Members.
