Staff Assistant – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC)

Senior Democratic Member of Congress seeks an energetic, organized, creative, self-starter to join the team of her very active and visible legislative office staff. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be comfortable with managing multiple tasks and work well under pressure.

Legislative Correspondent – Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO)

The Office of Senator McCaskill is looking for a Legislative Correspondent (LC) to handle a busy portfolio of issues related to healthcare, the judiciary, women, children, seniors, campaign finance reform, crime, civil rights, and more. Digital Media Director – Northeast Senate Democrat

District Staffer – Congressman Don Beyer (D-VA)

Northern Virginia office seeks a staffer for a varied portfolio in the district office.  The position will include some outreach, case work and event planning in the district, which encompasses the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church, Arlington County, and parts of Fairfax County.  This person will establish and maintain contacts with myriad local organizations and keep in touch with their concerns and local events.  In addition, he or she will help organize and staff various events in the district, such as town halls, policy forums, and the like.  They will also handle a small portion of the office’s case work.

This person will join a (congenial!) five-person office, so must be collaborative and available to jump in on other tasks, such as answering phones in the office, and occasionally staffing the Congressman at various events, including some evening and weekend hours.
