Fall Interns – Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY)

The Office of Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY-04) is currently seeking interns for our Fall Internship Program. The internship begins in August and runs through December. Qualified candidates will possess an interest in the legislative process, good writing and communication skills, and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered. The intern’s hours will depend upon his or her class schedule.

Responsibilities will include communicating with constituents, writing constituent letters, performing research requests, leading tours of the U.S. Capitol, and administrative work. Our office’s interns work closely with our staff and should be professional, motivated, and adept at multi-tasking.

Preference will be given to students from the Fourth Congressional District and the State of New York.
