Fall Interns – Florida House Democrat

The Office of Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) has openings for challenging fall semester internships to aid our administrative, legislative, and press teams.  Responsibilities include: researching legislative issues, attending legislative briefings and hearings, answering phone calls, processing constituent mail, giving Capitol tours, and assisting with special projects.  Applicants should be enthusiastic, reliable, hard working, and have strong writing and communication skills.  South Florida ties preferred but not required.  Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and writing sample of absolutely no more than one page to email hidden; JavaScript is required.  The deadline for fall semester applications is July 27th.  Fall internships will start mid- to late August and will run through the semester.

Fall Interns – California House Democrat

We are seeking motivated, organized, and reliable individuals to assist the legislative and administrative staff with day-to-day duties. Such duties include attending briefings and hearings, answering phones, sorting mail, drafting constituent correspondence letters, giving Capitol tours, doing legislative research and various other tasks. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, and have an interest in the legislative and governmental process. Interns will gain valuable Hill and office experience, as well as have access to many unique networking opportunities. California ties are preferred, but not required.
