Scheduler/Office Manager – Florida House Republican

Congressman Bill Posey (R-FL-15) is seeking a Scheduler/Office Manager for his Washington, DC office.  Ideal candidates must possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the equanimity required to manage the Member’s schedule and support him in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing the Member’s DC schedule, coordinating travel, managing interns, ensuring office operations run well, and handling general systems administration.  Must be able to multi-task effectively, adapt quickly, and be pro-active.  A positive attitude and the ability to work seamlessly in a team are essential.  Prior scheduling experience is preferred but not required.  Interested applicants should email their resume to email hidden; JavaScript is required with “Scheduler Position” in the subject line.

Interns – New Mexico House Democrat

Congressman Ben Ray Lujan (NM-03) is seeking un-paid full-time and part-time interns for his Washington, DC office.  Candidates should be motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented individuals with availability beginning immediately with a preference for those who can stay two – three months. New Mexico ties are a plus, but are not required.

Intern responsibilities include answering constituent phone calls, leading tours of the Capitol, sorting mail and faxes, writing letters, and assisting experienced staff with projects in diverse issue areas.  Candidates should be outgoing and possess strong oral and written communication skills, an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a good sense of humor. Scheduler – House Republican

Active House Republican seeks experienced Scheduler. The main responsibility of the position is coordinating the Member’s Washington, D.C. and district schedules, but will also include other general office duties as required.  Applicant must be able to successfully operate in a fast-paced environment, multi-task effectively, and adapt quickly.  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must, along with a positive attitude.
