Scheduler – New England Senate Democrat

New England Democratic Senator seeking a Scheduler to assist with State and DC scheduling.  Responsibilities include working closely with the Scheduling Director, State Director and other staff to research and respond to meeting requests and invitations; will be responsible for tracking incoming requests and management of the scheduling request database, assist with compiling the Senator’s daily briefing books, managing the Senator’s daily call log, and providing other logistical support as needed. A successful candidate will be enthusiastic and detail-oriented, able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks and able to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion in a fast-paced environment. A good attitude and sense of humor are essential. Applicants must have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with both constituents and staff. Previous scheduling experience a plus, but strong New England ties are required. Fall Interns – Washington House Republican

Natural Resources Chairman Congressman Doc Hastings is looking for full time, unpaid fall interns for his personal office. Internships can start late July – early August and can last through the end of December. Interns in the Washington, D.C. office will be responsible for assisting with general office duties, legislative staff with research and writing, and responding to constituent mail. Interns will be encouraged to attend hearings, briefings, and other Congressional proceedings. Additional duties are available and will be assigned according to an intern’s interest and ability. Must be highly motivated, self-starter, detail oriented, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and will have the ability to manage multiple tasks on a deadline. Staff Assistant – Western Senate Democrat

Western Democratic Senator is seeking a Staff Assistant with technology skills to provide administrative support and assist the Director of Information and Technology.  Applicants must be detail oriented, well organized, able to handle a fast-paced work environment, work well in a team environment, and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
