Systems Administrator/Mail Coordinator – Southern Senate Democrat
Moderate Southern Democratic Senator seeks a Systems Administrator/Mail Coordinator to oversee technology for the D.C. and state offices, and provide direct support with correspondence management and processing. Responsibilities include installing, updating, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software. This includes, but not limited to: office PC and Mac workstations, printers, mobile devices, and servers. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a technical support role and have proficiency with Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Vista, Microsoft Office programs, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Mac OS X, and Active Directory. Fall Interns – Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX)
Texas Republican Rep. Michael McCaul is looking for full time, unpaid Fall interns. Internships can start late July – early September and can last through the end of December. Interns in the Washington, D.C. office will be responsible for assisting with general office duties (answering phones, passing out mail, distributing faxes), assisting legislative staff with research and writing, and responding to constituent mail. Performing constituent services (scheduling tours, processing flag requests, and legislative correspondence) will also be an integral part of each internship.
