Congressional office on Capitol Hill seeks an individual to work as part of a team controlling access to the Congressional Gallery and Floor. Will be trained to guide/escort visitors tour groups from entrance doors to Floor/Gallery during sessions. Assists operations of checking belongings that are prohibited in the Galleries, i.e. food, etc. Control access to the Floor by Staff conducting staff-led tours. Seeking upbeat, professional, polite and patient friendly candidates.

Essentially we are seeking customner service oriented individuals who are comfortable climbing stairs, standing and walking, conversing with visitors and tour groups. An interest in Congressional Affairs, Capitol Hill Government Agencies/Politics helpful. Any prior customer services experience interacting with people in a museum helpful.
