The ideal candidate must have a high level of technological expertise, excel at multi-tasking, have excellent customer service and be skilled in computer/mobile device systems administration. The position also requires strong written and verbal communication skills, good research skills, and a willingness to work long hours in a fast-paced environment. Foreign language fluency and California background/experience preferred.
Systems Administrator responsibilities include handling all computer and technical systems for Washington DC and District offices, providing software and hardware troubleshooting for staff and Member, and maintenance of office intranet site. The applicant will be the sole individual responsible for managing all technical issues for staff. Applicants are expected to have intricate knowledge of troubleshooting hardware, popular software, and mobile devices such as iPads and Blackberries. Applicant must also be familiar with Windows administration, have the ability to operate in a network environment with skills in server management and have in-depth knowledge of major application suites as well as desktop and mobile device operating systems. The individual should also have experience with website
design, construction and administration (including HTML), voter file databases and data migration. Proficiency with Internet Quorum (IQ) and Catalist is a plus.
Staff Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing and supervising interns, front office management in coordination with Office Manager, processing of tour/flag requests, answering phones, greeting visitors such as constituents, elected officials, or government officials, assisting on special projects and providing general support to Member, and staff.

Incumbent will assist in the administration of the House of Representatives classified information security programs. Duties include educating Members and staff on the protocols and procedures of handling and storing classified information. Incumbent will serve as a liaison with the Intelligence Community and the Hill. Incumbent will assist the Director on the day-to-day management of the division and oversee all division activities and operations in the absence of the Director.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in the intelligence community or industrial security field. Knowledge of policies and procedures of the House of Representatives; strong leadership skills, excellent organizational skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work under pressure; ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in handling daily operations of the office in the absence of the Director. Must be able to lift 10 lb. bags of paper material for burn runs; must be tactful and courteous in dealing with Members, Congressional staff, and the general public; available to work long hours and at night when necessary. Applicant must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret and SCI security clearance.
