The Republican Majority staff of the Committee on Natural Resources in the U.S. House of Representatives is now accepting applications for unpaid internships.  Positions are available immediately (January) and also for the summer.  Responsibilities include: assisting Committee staff, supporting hearings, answering phones, greeting visitors, and research.  Interns will be assigned special projects as needed.  The ideal candidate will be motivated, mature, detail orientated and possess the ability to multi-task.  This is an excellent opportunity for a college student or recent graduate looking to gain experience working on Capitol Hill.  It is preferred that interns are able to work a minimum of two days per week, from approximately 9:00am-5:30pm.  Candidates should attach their resume and paste the cover letter into the body of an email, and send it to gop_intern@mail.house.gov.
