Senate Judiciary Committee Law Clerks – Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY)

Senator Schumer seeks law clerks for his Judiciary Committee staff for the summer of 2010. First and second year law students are welcome to apply for these unpaid positions. Law clerks typically conduct research and assist in drafting legislation related to topics under the Judiciary Committee’s jurisdiction, including but not limited to immigration policy, oversight of the Department of Justice and the administration of the courts (including nominations), antitrust and consumer protection, crime and the criminal justice system, and national security.
